| The mission of Enrollment Management is to achieve and maintain a student recruitment, enrollment, retention, and completion rate that is appropriate for the University. To accomplish this mission the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management supervises and coordinates the activities of the Admissions Office, Enrollment Services, Student Academic Services, Student Financial Aid, TRIO Programs, and the University Learning Center and works with all colleges, departments, and programs across the University to encourage and coordinate a wide range of student-related activities. |

| The Office of Admissions reviews and processes all applications for undergraduate admission to the University, determines a student’s eligibility for admission according to University and North Dakota State Board of Higher Education policy, and notifies the student regarding current admission status. The office responds to all inquiries relating to admission policies and procedures, coordinates the admission process with other administrative offices, and compiles data for reporting. Permanent University records for all undergraduate students, as well as newly admitted students to the professional programs in the School of Law and School of Medicine and Health Sciences, are created in this office. |

| Career Services' purpose is to help students and alumni in planning and carrying out their job searches. Individual assistance is available in all aspects of your job search and in developing the ability to market your unique talents, skills, and knowledge. Career Services’ online system allows students and alumni to register and access information and services 24-hours a day, seven days a week. Some of our online services and information includes: online registration, access to Cooperative Education information, sign-up for on-campus interviews, placing a resume online for employers to access, view job openings, links to related sites, and numerous bits of job search information. We have a computer lab with direct online access to the Internet available to assist students and alumni in their job searches.
Career Services coordinates activities such as on-campus interviews, employer information sessions, numerous career/job fairs, Cooperative Education, networking/practice interview day, resume writing workshops, job search workshops, interviewing skills workshops, and one-on-one job search assistance. |

| Cooperative Education coordinates salaried, career-related work experiences for students. A division of Career Services, Co-op works with employers and academic departments to develop opportunities for students that combine course work with practical, professional employment in their chosen fields. Students earn pay and academic credit while maintaining full-time student status during work terms. |

| The Enrollment Services Office is the central contact point for dissemination of enrollment information about the University of North Dakota. The office is also responsible for developing and implementing of the Undergraduate Marketing Plan. This plan guides the recruitment efforts of the University for both new freshman and new transfer students.
The primary mission is to inform, counsel, and assist prospective students and their families regarding admission, academic programs, and procedures. The office is the central mailing point for requests for applications for admission and housing, scholarships, catalogs, and other UND information. Enrollment Services provides a visit program for prospective students including tours of the UND campus. Tours are held Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. upon individual request. | Student Success Center provides academic advising for all students who are in the process of deciding on a major. Professional advisors provide students with mentoring and assistance with clarifying educational goals and curriculum planning. In addition, SSC offers a variety of programs designed to enhance the first year of enrollment at UND including a college success seminar course, “Getting Started and Keep Going.” |

| A variety of federal, state and institutional financial aid programs are available for students at UND. The programs include (but are not limited to): Federal Perkins Loan, Federal Nursing Loan, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant, Federal Work Study, Federal Pell Grant, Federal Stafford Loans, Federal PLUS Loans, North Dakota State Grant, and institutional employment coordinated by Job Service North Dakota. In addition UND has approximately 2,000 scholarships that are awarded on the basis of academic excellence. Information regarding financial assistance and part-time employment may be obtained from the Student Financial Aid Office. |

Educational Opportunity Center
EOC advisors help adults and young people enroll in the college of their choice. The program serves people who have academic potential, but who may lack adequate information or academic preparation to begin college. These may be people who have never enrolled in college, as well as who have been to college and dropped out. Advisors also work with people who are completing their high school degree or GED. Some services include: career exploration, admissions information, financial aid information and assistance completing the FAFSA, study skills development and college tours. EOC also assists people who wish to transfer from one college to another, such as from a two-year college to a four-year college.
Educational Talent Search
The Educational Talent Search program assists in enabling 6th-12th grade students who have academic potential, but may lack adequate information or school preparation to enter, continue, or resume programs of secondary and post-secondary education. Services include academic advisement, financial aid information and work-shops, tutoring, and study skills, career counseling, and interpretation of interest tests.
McNair Post-baccalaureate Achievement Program
This program is designed for undergraduates who have completed their sophomore year and who are first-generation and low-income, or who are from a group under-represented at the doctoral level of the targeted departments: Anatomy and Cell Biology, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Biology, Chemistry, Counseling, Education, Geology and Geological Engineering, Microbiology and Immunology, Physics, Physiology, Psychology, English, Sociology, Pharmacology, Business, Computer Science, and Mathematics. Other programs may be considered based on the quality of applicants, who must have at least a 3.0 GPA. The program encourages graduate studies by providing opportunities to define goals, engage in research, and develop the skills and student/faculty mentor relationships vital to success at the doctoral level. UND provides tuition and fee waivers to all McNair students.
Student Support Services
Student Support Services provides individual and small group tutoring; review classes in math, science, and English/writing; help with course selection and registration; and career exploration. Students also receive assistance securing appropriate financial resources. Eligibility for the program is determined by federal regulations and academic need established by the student and advisor.
Upward Bound
The Upward Bound program provides assistance to low-income and first generation high school youth at selected schools in North Dakota in obtaining the academic skills and motivation necessary to attend a post-secondary institution.

This includes free drop-in tutoring; individual assistance with learning concerns; assessment of test anxiety, learning styles, and reading comprehension; computer assisted instruction along with study skills workshops and development seminars and one-credit courses (A&S 250) in Effective Study Skills and Rapid Reading.
